Schuller German Fitted Kitchens

The successful history of the Schüller Company started in 1954, when the first kitchen cupboard was created. In 1971 the first built-in kitchens were built. The former carpentry company became an innovative company developing their own lines and introducing them into the market. Today Schüller is one of the top ten within this business field. With more than 800 employees, Schuller kitchens are being exported all over the world.

The Schuller kitchens factory is situated in Herrieden, a town in Franconia in the heart of Europe, not far away from the highway connecting them with all directions, the East, West, South and North. It is typical of the Schuller philosophy to concentrate the production at one location and plan for the future. The plant itself sits on a site of 180.000 m², more than 90.000 m² of which have been developed to date.

Only quality will survive! This is the Schuller kitchens commitment, nothing else. There are many reasons to buy a Schuller kitchen; one of them is that a Schuller kitchen will last much longer than many of their competitors, which is good for the customer……not so good for repeat sales!

There are many reasons for this: their new production technology, the very high percentage of home produced components even of surfaces and lacquering. They ensure a continuous product development, a permanent and strict quality control system and they work together only with selected and reliable suppliers. This they do to create kitchens which keep their promise: kitchens made by Schuller kitchens are made in Germany and made to last.

For Schuller quality means also quality of life. This means also that they are responsible for their resources as we have just one world, one life - for us, for our children and grand-children.

Feeling responsible for their region they want to make a contribution to environmental protection. This they achieve with a responsible production, an efficient use of materials and with material recycling. They invest millions for environmentally friendly solutions such as a new heating system, a heat recovery system using recycled wooden off cuts from the factory just to mention some of their projects.

Another major initiative undertaken by Schüller is the conversion of its vehicle fleet to Euro 5. The quality ethos at Schuller kitchens also extends to include quality of life. This means ensuring the responsible use of all resources. It is with this grave responsibility in mind that the company has resolved to set an active example by reducing the pollutant emissions of its truck fleet: In line with the latest exhaust standard for heavy goods vehicles known as Euro 5, over half the fleet is now using diesel fuel with the additive known as “AdBlue”, which benefits the environment by reducing harmful emissions. By meeting its obligation to the region and to its fellow citizens, Schuller Kitchens aim to make a proactive contribution towards protecting the environment.
