With its sheer versatility and aesthetic beauty, a solid wood surface is relatively easy to maintain and can be easily repaired. It also offers safety from a hygiene viewpoint as it contains natural anti-bacterial properties.
Maintenance
Our bespoke timber worktops come sanded, with three coats of oil (five on end grains) and it is recommended that you apply a coat of oil every week for the first three months after installation. After that period you are still required to oil the worktops as and when you see fit.
