Design Meets Function

When choosing a new kitchen, what do you look for?

Durability? Effective Design? Sleekness? Practicality? Storage? Uniqueness?

Whatever it is you are looking for, then the Next125 collection from Schuller will fit the bill. When I first took a look at their range, the sheer beauty of the designs, and the ingenious storage solutions took me aback. Add to that, the fact that their kitchens are sustainably produced, then you won’t need to look anywhere else. There really is something to suit every kitchen size, personal taste and budget.

Next125 Kitchen

The Next125 is a premium designer kitchen range that offers a choice of door finishes, and we’re not just talking colours, we’re talking glass, wood, matt, gloss, graphite, and so much more. They offer the choice of handles or no handles. They offer a flush, contemporary and personalized design. They offer clever innovative storage. They offer functional designs such as the variable carcass heights, wall units with sliding doors, and their freestanding cooking table. They offer a fusion of function and design.

There is so much on offer that I can’t do it justice in just one blog – but what I can do is highlight some of their designs that really caught my eye.

Let’s start with the Sand grey matt kitchen – fresh, neutral and warm, brings a kitchen to life, fills it with light and can be teamed with silvers, greys and blacks to ensure a modern contemporary look. Natural wood touches can be added to fuse modern and rustic whilst maintaining a sleek clean finish.

The Glass gloss white kitchen is stunning and the 4mm thick toughened safety glass doors ensure durability. This eye-pleasing kitchen can be personalized with a splash of your favourite colour or partnered with simple stainless steel and innovative lighting to highlight the beauty of sheer white. If pure white is not your thing, this gorgeous glass gloss finish also comes in polar white, crystal white, stone grey, crystal grey, indigo blue and the show stopping lava black.

Next125 - Wood KitchenThe Natural knotty oak, brushed kitchen boasts knotty oak veneer kitchen door fronts with solid wood edges. This kitchen brings a modern twist to a classic look and has a real homely feel to it. You don’t of course have to go all wood, why not mix it up and compliment the wood with some cream vanilla white fronted units. Ideal for bringing the natural classics into the light.

Aside from all the amazing choices of design, one other aspect of the Next125 range really captured my attention, and that is the Next125 cube – modular cubes that are an expression of sublime aesthetics. Space saving, eye catching, practical, and accessible are just a few words to describe this functional design. The cubes offer a range of possibilities to store knives, kitchen roll, utensils, spices and even has a multiple socket outlet to provide extra sockets where you need them most, but can be hidden away for a clean finish. This practical solution to storage really is a must have for the modern kitchens of 2019 and I would challenge anyone not to be tempted by them.

The one statement that comes up over and over again when researching the Next125 collection is “Design meets function” and it really is true. This collection of kitchens makes designer affordable for everyone.
